Here is your chance to learn prenatal bodywork with an inspired, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who I recommend highly!
Pregnancy is a unique experience accompanied by numerous physical adaptations that can lead to a variety of musculoskeletal complaints. In the 32-hour Prenatal Bodywork Certification, students will gain a deeper understanding of this potent rite of passage, while learning advanced manual therapy techniques to address common pregnancy concerns including sacroiliac joint pain, leg cramps, uterine ligament spasms, and more. Students will gain confidence with draping and positioning, recognize the difference between pregnancy massage myths and real precautions, and offer effective bodywork techniques that address client’s shifting needs from conception to birth. This full certification class includes a 1.5 hour supervised pregnancy massage clinic where students must demonstrate proficiency.
Students can register for just day 1 Fundamentals or the entire 32-hr certification course.
